Interra Sports Fans Find Something to Cheer About
From the Super Bowl to the NCAA Tournament, Interra Sports Fans Find Something to Cheer About

For Interra International staffers, 2017 has been a great time to be a fan of the “home team.”
Yesterday night the University of North Carolina Tar Heels achieved a stunning victory over Gonzaga with a 71-65 win over the Bulldogs.
This victory was meaningful to many Interra team members. In addition to Interra offices being located a few miles away from UNC’s campus, many of our staff members attended themselves, or have children in school at the state’s flagship university.
An exciting, successful season for the Tar Heels was capped by a victory in the NCAA tournament, offering many UNC fans a sense of redemption after last year’s buzzer-beating loss to Villanova. The Tar Heels now boast a whopping six NCAA wins!
Closer to Interra headquarters, just two months ago, the Atlanta Falcons “rose up,” battling through the NFL playoffs and all the way to Super Bowl LI with a season for the ages. Facing off against the legendary New England Patriots, Atlantans everywhere gathered to cheer on their team. Interra International marked the occasion with a delicious Super Bowl potluck, enjoyed by even Pats fans.
At the February 5 game at Houston’s NRG Stadium, the Falcons looked like they had the game put away up until the third quarter, but the Patriots successfully delivered the most dramatic comeback in the history of Super Bowl games, claiming their fifth title and denying Atlanta their first. CEO Steve Isaf reflected on lessons from the 34-28 loss, saying, “No matter how far down you are, you can always come back.”
With teams with this level of talent right in our backyard, it’s no wonder that our staffers find Atlanta and Chapel Hill fantastic places to live, work and play
